Today on Facebook, I mentioned that one of my goals for January is to do ten pull-ups in a row. Right now I am barely squeaking out four, so this is a pretty big goal!
I loved hearing several of you share your own fitness goals for January… feel free to share more in the comments of this post!
A few of you also have goals that involve pull-ups, so I thought I would tell you about my at-home pull-up bar. I love this thing!
What I love MOST about it is that it requires NO screws or nails, and it can be easily lifted off the door-frame and stored elsewhere.
I found it on Amazon, and it was only $27. Here is the link.
It requires a tiny amount of assembly (the silver tab you see in the center of the bar keeps the bar from falling off, and just inserts between the molding and the wall… again, no nails or screws).
Check out the pictures, and get yourself a pull-up bar! I like to keep it up all the time so I can bang some out as I go about the house.
The bar sits on the door frame, and is held in place by the small silver tab. The bars on the back side press against the door frame to keep the bar steady.
This thing is super-sturdy. My husband uses it too!
Working hard!
Thanks for the tip, Jennie! I just got a notification from Amazon that mine will be here on Wednesday. Going to get my 10! 🙂
