Throughout our Whole30 Challenge, Dustin and I learned a ton about food and how it affects our bodies. I have been super-intrigued by this process, and have done alot of research on the Paleo Diet. Upon sharing loads of information with Dustin on a recent vacation, he said: “You know, you should really start a blog or something… it would help you remember all these things you’re learning, and you’d be sharing some great information with others.” What a great idea!
So yeah… the purpose of this blog is three-fold:
1. I hope to be able to remember all that I’m learning. There are a few topics on which I particularly need to remember details. For example, a few days ago I was asked why grains are bad. I could not remember many of the reasons for why they are bad, I just knew that I had been sold on the fact that they are, in fact, bad. Hopefully typing some of this information in my own words will help me maintain what I’m learning.
2. I love to write. I have a degree in English, so journaling and blogging are wonderful outlets for me!
3. I hope you get some good information, and that you will use it to become a healthier individual. My ultimate goal is to help people realize that Paleo-eating does not have to be difficult. Whether you’re transitioning into a Paleo lifestyle, or just trying to maintain it in your daily life; my tips, articles, and Food Diary posts should help you simplify!
Enjoy!
